BOSTON -- A
man from Boston has proposed to his girlfriend over the video
monitors of a jumbo jet in the middle of a flight.
Matt Green
said he wanted to pop the question on an aeroplane because he
met Jennifer Bytnar on a flight to Pittsburgh two years ago.
The couple
already had seats booked on the Delta flight to Atlanta when the
24-year-old decided to ask staff to play a video of the proposal
over the plane's monitors.
Matt made
the tape with the help of a video production crew. Jennifer was
reportedly "ecstatic" when she saw it.
He said: "I
thought, 'What better place to ask her to marry me than in an
aeroplane?'"
Although no
wedding date has been set, Mr Green told The Boston Globe that
they may have the ceremony on a plane.
