A couple have held their wedding ceremony strapped to the wings of a biplane.
Caroline Hackwood and Justin Bunn, and a Methodist minister, the Rev George Brigham, took to the skies in three 1940s biplanes.
As they flew side by side in the special service over Rendcomb airfield near Cirencester, Gloucestershire, their vows were relayed by microphones to their wedding party on the ground.
Caroline, 27, screamed "I do" as Mr Brigham shouted the vows over loudspeakers from his aircraft.
The couple's 75 wedding guests on the ground clapped and cheered as the lovebirds tied the knot at an altitude of 1,000 feet. The couple had to marry officially in a register office ceremony the night before as, by law, the ceremony has to take place within four walls.
After the flying start to their marriage Caroline from Newport, South Wales, said: "It was excellent. I'm feeling tired now but taking the marriage vows was the most scary bit.
"I had to talk him into it as I've always wanted to wing walk."
Camelot sales executive Justin, 27 who was wearing a purple silk jacket and gold silk waistcoat, said: "We are ecstatic. I don't know how we're going to top this but I'm sure we're going to find a few things to spice up our lives."
Mr Brigham, a Methodist minister from Teddington, West London, said he decided to take part because of his passion for aviation.
He added: "Some people choose special music at their wedding. This couple chose a special setting, but I'm just glad they decided to have a Christian wedding. I think it was a fitting service. I had some concerns initially but I see they have taken the whole thing seriously even if it is a different way of doing it."
